Matthew Weiner has more than 25 years of experience serving the real estate industry.

Mr. Weiner grew up working in the real estate industry, interacting with developers, builders, agents, architects, engineers, lenders, buyers and sellers, and he brings this broad-based experience to his clients. He is a skilled negotiator and knowledgeable about each of his client’s projects and businesses.

Mr. Weiner has represented clients including IKEA, local hospital systems in two states, industrial developers and landlords in the Port of Savannah, shopping center and supermarket developers, local and regionally-scoped production home builders, and individual buyers and sellers of real property and small businesses.

Mr. Weiner also has significant international experience. He has served as Legal Director and Acquisitions Director for European Property Group (an investment fund based in Prague, Czech Republic and the Developer of Palladium Praha), a Member of the Board of Directors of Kvartira.ru (a large real estate developer focused on CIS countries), counsel for European funds working in the United States, and advisor to groups participating in the World Economic Forum.

Since 2010, in addition to his law practice, Mr. Weiner is also involved in business endeavors. He is the co-manager of the East West Alliance group of companies (EWA), which has completed residential and commercial projects in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. EWA currently has projects in Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida.

Mr. Weiner holds a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, and Ohio. He served as of counsel with the firm of Weiner, Shearouse, Weitz, Greenberg & Shawe from 2013 – 2019.

Mr. Weiner resides in Savannah, Georgia, with his wife and family. He enjoys travel, reading, sports, and animals.
